What are many hams excited about these days? One word: POTA. Parks On The Air took off when the ARRL celebrated the 100th anniversary of the National Parks in 2016. Now, 8 years later, it’s still a very hot topic. So hot, in fact, that it is the theme of this year’s HamXposition.
In keeping with that theme, many of this year’s door prizes are with POTA in mind. Our Grand Prize is the Icom IC-705. A Xiegu X6100 is the second prize, and the Saturday night banquet prize is a Yaesu FT-710 Field. There are portable antennas, antenna analyzers, DX Engineering gift certificates, plus many donated items such as digital interfaces, watt/SWR meters, CW keys, logging programs, Bioenno batteries, CW paddles, programming software and so much more.
All of this is only made possible by the many companies that have donated door prizes. That list includes:

You must submit your ticket stub at the convention to win the top three door prizes (though you do not need to be present when the winners are selected). You do need to be present to win the unlisted prizes.
Tickets will be drawn hourly and you can check your numbers against the numbers drawn at the ticket sales desk area.
