(2023) Chip Cohen, W1YW, is an inventor, scientist, and retired professor. Almost 30 years ago he gave the first public talk on fractal antennas , at our own Boxboro (now HamXposition). This heralded a new era in antennas and electromagnetic design and led to the invention of the invisibility cloak. Chip will talk about his amusing background, ‘ham-genuity’, and some the pitfalls and pleasures along that tortuous path of invention.
