The 2026 ARRL New England Division Convention was hosted by the Northeast HamXposition™, HamX™, August 13 – 16 at the Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel & Trade Center in Marlborough, Massachusetts. One only had to walk a few steps into the convention to see the strong youth presence. ARRL Senior Director of Marketing and Innovation Bob Inderbitzen, NQ1R, met students and advisors from New England Sci-Tech (NESci-Tech) throughout the weekend. NESci-Tech is a nonprofit STEM education center and makerspace dedicated to project-based, hands-on learning for youth and families across New England. [Full story]
