New to ham or looking to get your license? This presentation will try to help you navigate the numerous different types of radios available.
Jonathan Slawsby was born and raised in the Boston area. In January of 2024 he received his Technician’s Class license following on with his General and Extra licenses over the course of the next month. In his 2 plus years of being an operator Jonathan has owned over 40 different radios, from very basic HT’s to some of the highest end SDR’s. His interests include DX chasing, FT8 as well as POTA operations. He operates both in the US and in the British Virgin Islands under VP2V/W5GI call. He completed a kilo at park VG-0021 before any other operator had avtivated the park.
